This course is all about recognizing the kind of light that most people overlook. We’re not chasing dramatic scenes or heavy edits. Instead, I’ll show you how to find small pockets of light and use them to your advantage.
This is a simple editing course, but the real takeaway is what happens before you ever touch a file. I’ll walk you through how I see light in real-time, how I position my subjects, and how I use that light to create clean, intentional images. It is about those magical spots that almost every photographer overlooks and will have them feeling you edited in a look that you captured out of camera.
We will begin with BTS video that walks you through the exact lighting I looked for and why. You’ll see my straight-out-of-camera files, watch me walk through my process, and follow along as I edit them with purpose and restraint.
