This course pulls back the curtain on an image that sparked a lot of conversation. Some viewers assumed the background was manipulated. Others thought the scene had been cropped or altered to exaggerate the depth. The truth is far simpler. The separation you see was created in-camera, and the final look comes from how the file is polished afterward.
In this course, I walk through the entire process behind the image. You will see a FULL pull back from many angles where it was actually captured, how the scene was composed with the use of video BTS footage, and what straight of of the camera RAW image looked like before any adjustments were made, along with the entire series from that specific location. From there, I show how I refine the image in post so the depth and separation read clearly without flattening the scene or over-processing the file. The course will end with a short segment where I use Evoto for skin refinement. Included with this course is a QR code that will give you 50 FREE Evoto credits!
This is not a lighting course. The lighting was already there. The focus here is understanding how to take a file that already has strong depth and shape it so the final image feels clean, intentional, and finished.
