AW TEACHES ARCHIVE COURSE
This course is part of the AW Teaches Archive. It comes from an earlier phase of my work, but it was personally handpicked because it still holds strong value and includes concepts I continue to use today. While my process has been refined over time, the foundation shared here remains solid. This course is available as a standalone purchase through January 1, 2026. After that date, it will no longer be sold individually and will live exclusively inside the VP Box.
Dramatic Intention centers on an image I captured during a Chicago workshop in 2022 and remains one of my personal favorites. This course is focused primarily on the editing decisions that brought the image together.
The image was captured at night using continuous lighting rather than a strobe. Inside the course, I show the exact positioning of the light and how it was used to create the foundation for the final image.
What you’ll take away:
How small, often overlooked details make the difference between an image that’s glanced at and one that truly stops the scroll. You’ll learn how to identify which details actually matter and how subtle editing choices create impact without being obvious.
No advanced editing knowledge is required. No actions are used. This course walks through specific Photoshop tools that are easy to overlook unless someone shows you how and why they’re being used.
