Description
Cineblue is a color grading course focused on building a cinematic look that starts long before the edit.
This tutorial begins on location. I briefly walk through why I chose this setting and how the environment, distance, and available light were all part of the plan. You’ll see behind-the-scenes video footage and the entire RAW series from this portion of the shoot so you can understand the decisions being made before the camera was ever put away.
From there, I move into the edit. I take one image from RAW to final and show exactly how I shape color, contrast, and tonal balance to create the Cineblue look that is fairly consistent within my images. This is not about chasing trends or copying film presets. It’s about controlling blue tones, skin color, and overall mood in a way that feels intentional and consistent.
The focus is on restraint, balance, and knowing how far to push color without breaking realism. Every adjustment has a purpose, and nothing is hidden.
You don’t need advanced Photoshop knowledge to follow along. This course is about seeing color differently, understanding how your choices stack, and learning how to create a cinematic finish that feels clean, modern, and repeatable.
This course will be available in the VP Box.
