Join me in cities across the U.S. and abroad for an intimate, hands-on workshop where you’ll gain insight into how I see and maximize light in everyday surroundings. Our goal is to create magic anytime, anywhere. We’ll explore both natural and created light, and I’ll personally demonstrate how I find and use natural light. You’ll then apply these skills to create your own images during the workshop. Rest assured, there will be no “paparazzi-style” photography—each photographer will have ample one-on-one time with the models.

My workshops are designed to be small and intimate, with a maximum of 10 participants. You’ll learn how I blend natural and created light to achieve a natural look that has captured the attention of top brands. The goal is to help you incorporate my techniques into your own unique photographic style. All skill levels are welcome.

FAQ’s

How much does it cost?

The workshop costs a total of $800. To secure a spot you have to pay $150, with the remaining $650 due 30 days prior to your workshop date. You will be sent an invoice to pay the final balance.

What should I bring?

Just your camera and your favorite two lenses. Make sure one of those lens is a prime lens. We will supply all the lighting equipment.

What are the hours?

The day roughly begins at 10:30am – 7pm. Sometimes those times are adjusted an hour or two during the summer months.

What sets your workshops apart?
The Light Exposed Workshop is designed for photographers seeking a minimalist approach to create striking, standout images. The goal is to surprise viewers with what you can achieve by keeping it simple. We encourage spontaneity, and how to confidently find and recognize light, ensuring your work remains unique and in demand.
How many participants are there in the workshop?

The group maxes at 10 participants. On average there is between 7-8 photographers.

Do I need to be an advanced or professional photographer?

No you do not. Audrey will pace the class so that those that are advanced do not feel held back, nor will the photographer who is fairly new feels left behind. The class size is small enough where this happens seamlessly.

What if it rains?
Audrey has a backup plan for inclement weather, though it’s only been needed once during Hurricane Ian in Orlando. She worked with the group to find the best reschedule date, and the workshop was postponed by a few weeks. At AW Teaches, we’re highly flexible and committed to ensuring a stellar experience for everyone.
Will I have one on one time with Audrey and the models?

Absolutely! That’s the core of the workshop. Paparazzi-style shooting is strictly prohibited. Audrey demonstrates each setup, then photographers work individually with the model(s). Audrey is beside you the whole time, ensuring everyone captures unique images without shooting over someone else’s shoulder.

Will there be support after the workshop and do you go over editing?
Audrey provides you with a recap video of the entire day from start to finish. She goes over each lighting setup we covered, and she edits images from each location. That video is uploaded onto your AW Teaches account and is available to you forever.
Is there a refund policy?

No, the $150 deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a future date through 2026 if you need to reschedule. You also have the option to sell your seat, or use the $150 towards products in the AW Teaches store. The remaining $650 is due 30 days before the workshop, with no refunds available after that point.
