In this course, I'm giving you something photographers rarely get to see: two complete paid portrait sessions from beginning to end. Not just the best images. Not just BTS from a few setups. You get to see the entire process.
Each session includes 3 clothing changes and 3 separate locations, so you'll see how I create variety while keeping the final body of work consistent.
The bigger goal is not simply to show you how I photograph a session. It is to show you how I intentionally build enough variety that the finished gallery feels complete, while still maintaining a consistent style from beginning to end.
We begin in my home office, where I show you the equipment I actually use in the field. I show my cameras and three different lighting brands. I explain why I choose what I choose depending on the environment.
Then you come directly into the sessions with me.
For every location and clothing change, you'll see behind-the-scenes video while I explain what I'm capturing, what I'm watching for, how I'm evaluating the location and light, and why I'm approaching each setup the way I am. And I don't just show you the highlights.
You will see the ENTIRE folder of RAW images from each session.
You'll watch me cull the sessions in real time so you can see what I keep, what I don't keep, and how I narrow an entire paid session down to the images that ultimately become the client's gallery.
From there, you'll watch me edit select images from both sessions from start to finish and see how I maintain consistency even though we're changing clothing, locations, lighting and environments throughout the shoot.
But I don't stop when the editing is finished.
You'll see the complete galleries exactly as I present them to my clients. My sales process is 100% online, and my average client sale is $2,800. You'll see exactly how I present the finished gallery and how the variety created during the session carries through to the final client experience.
Finally, I unbox a brand new client album so you can see the finished product and how the entire process comes full circle. From what I captured in camera to what ultimately lands in my client's hands.
This isn't a course about creating one great image.
It's an inside look at how I approach my entire job as a portrait photographer...from the first frame to the finished album.
